オナガガモ、キツネなど / Northern Pintail, fox, etc.
As October draws to a close, it is beginning to look more and more like autumn.
Siberian Stonechat is a frequent subject during this time of year.
A Grey Heron jumped out of the ditch, startled. The close proximity emphasized the size of the heron's wings. I was surprised by the size of the heron's wings and wondered how big they were. I also like the texture of the wings.
Northern Pintails are now flying in this area.
A group of birds having breakfast in the rice field after harvesting. They are pecking at the fallen ears of rice, not paying much attention to me.
But I guess I was indeed too close. Sorry for interrupting your meal.
The morning sun was in good condition, and a flock flew toward me.
The sparrows are almost ready to strike a matching pose. However, like the Siberian Stonechat at the beginning of this article, all that grows here is tall goldenrod...
A female Daurian Redstart with a slightly different hair style.
There was a fox. I had seen something like it here before and thought it was not a dog, but these big ears, long face, and long tail made me think it was a fox. It looked very battered. Is it the season of re-growth, old age, or illness?
I know the location of what appears to be a burrow, and there were bird feathers scattered around the entrance, so it is likely that they hunt such prey as well. There are no mountains around the reclaimed land, so I am not sure where they came from or if they live elsewhere.
